Originally founded as a deli in 1969, Kanemi Foods established Kanemi Co., Ltd. in 1971 in order to operate multiple tenant outlets at supermarkets.
In 1980, our direct sales business, which was established as a second business division following our tenant business, launched deliveries of boxed meals to the first Circle K convenience store, and in 1983, we began operating our first factory dedicated to meals for convenience stores and embarked on full-scale business expansion.
We will strive to further improve our business performance utilizing our many sales channels, including delivering to convenience stores and opening tenant outlets in various commercial facilities such as supermarkets, department store food floors, and inside train stations.

| April 2019 | By transferring a portion of the shares of FamilyMart UNY Holdings Co.,Ltd. to Pan Pacific International Holdings Co., Ltd., both companies have become majority shareholders. |

| July 2020 | By transferring a portion of the shares held by FamilyMart Co., Ltd. to Nippon Access, Inc., FamilyMart Co., Ltd. is no longer the largest shareholder nor is it in any other way affiliated. |
